Sustainability

Planting indigenous vegetation is one of the best ways to contribute to a sustainable landscape. As the complexity of your home / facility increases, we feel a responsibility to minimize the adverse impacts of development on our environment.

The proper use of water for irrigation, using recycled materials and renewable resources, proper disposal of materials, habitat creation and protection, and the use of plant material to cool surfaces are goals for a green and sustainable landscape.

Norman Roux Landscaping has had the opportunity to be a part in the design and construction of a facility that scored a silver rating from LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). LEED is a nationally recognized program that bases its purpose to encourage and oversee low environmental impact on buildings.
